Post-graduate course and doctoral programme in the educational establishment "Belarusian state pedagogical university named after M. Tank" are a constituent of the united national system of continuous learning and the main form of regular training of research and educational personnel of higher qualification.
The aim of creating post-graduate course and doctoral programme is organizing training of highly-qualified teaching and scientific staff for BSPU, for other establishments of higher education and for research organizations and establishments of Belarus and foreign states. Post-graduate course and doctoral programme are the means of deepening the theoretical and special training of research and educational personnel, of their mastering of modern methods and means of scientific research, the ability to conduct scientific, pedagogic and educational work independently on a high level.
For getting post-graduate education, including getting it on a fee basis, the treaty is concluded.
On the education of foreign citizens on post-graduate courses.
The forms of treaties:
- 1. Standard form of the treaty on training a scientific worker of higher qualification at the expence of the republican budget;
- 2. Standard form of the treaty on training a scientific worker of higher qualification on a fee basis.
The conditions, measures and procedure of making the parties answerable for ruining the conditions of the concluded treaty are defined in the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education from January 13 2011 № 243-З.

The instruction on the current year assessment in the form of the report of a postgraduate student (doctoral student, applicant). The instruction on the final assessment of postgraduate alumni (doctoral alumni, applicant alumni). The examples of bibliographical description in the list of sources cited in the thesis and the abstract. The instruction on execution of the thesis (according to the Resolution of the Higher Assessment Committee of the Republic of Belarus 28.02.2014, №3).
